The 2009 Midtown Cocktail Week venues are promoting safe, alternate transportation for those participating in alcohol consumption during the August 2009 event. Yellow Cab Company is the official taxi cab transportation of Midtown Cocktail Week. In addition, the proceeds from the 2009 Midtown Cocktail Week will benefit local Sacramento area drunk driving educators and law enforcement agencies in an effort to combat drinking and driving as well as to promoting safe driving education for teens and adults.
